“Relaxed pace of life”

Brenda and Frank from Somerset on Dec 18, 2018

We've just returned from a relaxed break at the Denizkizi, which we booked through gonorthcyprus. The run-up to Christmas is always stressful and we wanted to experience a slower pace of life before coming back to throw ourselves into the Christmas spirit. The hotel was clean and tidy, traditionally family run and well priced. Our room was spotless and the towels were changed regularly, the bathroom was finished to a high standard and there are coffee making facilities in the room. Most of the guests are older, obviously coming for the relaxed, laidback experience. There's a nice private beach at the bottom of a slope down some steps and a supermarket and pharmacy not too far away. Fantastic lamb dinner on Sunday with an interesting tradition behind it, great prices for food and drink too....

“Treated like royalty at the Denizkiki Royal”

Patsy from Northumberland on Aug 31, 2018

We found the Denizkiki and Denizkiki Royal hotels on the gonorthcyprus website and were tempted by the wonderful reviews. Two hotels for the price of one was a great deal in our opinion so we booked soon after and stayed at the Royal. Sure enough, we were welcomed warmly on arrival and given a very nice and comfortable room that looked recently refurbished. The hotels are both pleasant and have a laidback air, being uncrowded and nicely designed. The gardens are just beautiful and there are lots of fruit trees, and the terrace overlooking the sea is equally lovely. Breakfast is decent - fruit, meats, eggs, cheese, all the expected goods. We had some delicious lamb on the Sunday, apparently the hotel's tradition of cooking the lamb in an underground oven is well-known throughout the region...

“Relaxing out-of-season trip”

Barry from Crewe on Apr 27, 2018

I took my wife to the Denizkiki for a week's stay and we had a wonderful time. The reviews were great and we got an excellent price from GoNorthCyprus for an out of season break so booked straightaway. We knew not all the services would be available at this time of year but weren't bothered - we just wanted to enjoy relaxing, which is what we did. The staff were always friendly, always helpful and we were given a lovely room, pleasantly decorated and very clean. Great sea view from the balcony. There's a nice beach but you have to be quick to get a sunbed, although it's private the public can also use it too for a fee. Also be aware that tea and coffee isn't provided in the bedrooms. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby area. Overall a nice relaxing break with very few complaints.

“Relaxing holiday”

Shelly from Harrogate on Oct 9, 2017

We recently returned from a week at the Denizkiki Royal, which we booked through gonorthcyprus as Gary always finds us a great deal. We hadn't tried the hotel before and fancied a change from our usual haunts, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay here, which we thought was very good value and really relaxing. Our room was wonderfully clean with a sea view and there's a lovely sandy beach nearby, which is very well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly but the food could have been better, we would recommend eating out most of the time. It's not far into town if you take the bus from outside the hotel, they are regular, about every 15 minutes. Alternatively you could hire a car, which is also handy for getting to the region's other beautiful beaches. All in all a good getaway

“Lovely location on the beach”

Stephanie and Chris from Caistor on Apr 26, 2017

We chose the Denizkizi for its wonderful beachside location and were not disappointed. We booked a short break with gonorthcyprus and were so excited to stay here since the development of the Royal wing, we did fancy a bit of luxury but it's also great that you can use both sides of the hotel resort regardless of which side you stay at. We had a spacious, clean room, very well appointed with a nice balcony and beautiful view. Pleasant, friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast and nice meals at other times - a little more choice of fish dishes would have been nice but overall we enjoyed the food. There are a few other beaches within a five-minute drive of the hotel if you want to explore and the centre of Kyrenia is only 15 minutes away. My husband and I had a lovely and relaxing time in...

“There is plenty of choice when it comes to splashing around!”

Gita from Southall on Oct 20, 2016

My kids love playing in the sea so it was crucial that we found a hotel with a beachside location when looking on Denizkiki Royal Hotel didn't disappoint, as it is situated next to a sandy, sheltered bay, which is ideal for children as it has shallow, warm water and a restaurant just a few metres away on the beach. There is also a children's pool at the hotel, as well as a freshwater pool near the sea, so plenty of choice when it comes to splashing around! Its watersports centre was open during the summer and we just made it before the end of the season, so my older children could have a go on a banana boat and wake boarding, which they really enjoyed. We loved how friendly everyone was here, and we saw the owner Niazi and his family eating at the restaurant several times,...

“what a lovely place to have a restful holiday!”

Jane from London on Jun 20, 2016

Facilities were great and the hotel staff were really friendly and professional. We loved sitting by the pool and watching the amazing cloud systems washing over the mountains. Crystal sea and plenty of places to go see if you wanted to. So lovely. Thanks to Go North Cyprus for helping us locate this jewel. The time we went was very quiet being outside school holiday times as an added bonus - we have served our time on family holidays!
