“Third and best visit yet”

Barry from Cleethorpes on Oct 3, 2017

We've just returned from a break at the Malpas which we booked with gonorthcyprus for the third time. Every time we visit this hotel it seems to have improved, it was already very good but is now even better and we will always return. The hotel is clean and well kept, we had a very nice, spacious room that was finished to a high standard. Location wise, the hotel is somewhat out of the way in a pleasant, peaceful area. However it's only a short drive to some lovely beaches and into town. Wonderful food, lots of choice, we really enjoyed the Chinese dishes. The waiters were very pleasant although a little over efficient sometimes with the clearing away before we'd quite finished! Good large pool area and new sunbeds, no problems finding a free spot to sunbathe. Overall another great stay!

“Good value short break”

Andrew from Coventry on Apr 20, 2017

Just returned from a short break at the Malpas, it was our first time staying in North Cyprus so we booked with GoNorthCyprus as they are well known as experts in the area. Gary was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed to make a choice and the Malpas seemed an ideal mid-range hotel. We found the staff very welcoming if a little inexperienced with their English and our room was comfortable. We were really pleased by the nice Hammam and warm pool. The food was adequate but not great, however, the prices were very good, for the drinks as well. The hotel is somewhat out of the way but you can take a bus to the nearest town, the hotel runs a shuttle service or you can take a regular bus. There are also various trips run from the hotel, so I'd suggest going on at least one to...

“Great Hotel in a quiet location”

Costas from Protaras on Nov 24, 2016

We had been to the Malpas before so had no hesitation visiting again, Gary at Go North Cyprus gave us a great deal and even offered to send us driving directions from our home in Protaras. The food is just as good as ever, the out door pool uncrowded and the rooms clean and comfy as we live on the Island we had our car with us , which was handy as there is not much within walking distance ( though they do offer a Shuttle bus into Kyrenia), we headed east and on the new road found ourselves at the New Karpaz gate marina , with lots of small sheltered beaches a little further along. On our second night a fault developed with the heating in our room but this was fixed by the time we got back from Dinner, The Indoor pool was nice and warm.

“Everything we wanted from our holiday!”

Katrina from Newcastle on Oct 27, 2016

Malpas Hotel had everything we wanted from our holiday, including great views, an excellent choice of food, a good location and a taste of luxury. It is only a short drive away from Kyrenia, and the GoNorthCyprus hotel runs a free shuttle bus there once a day, so we got to explore the harbour town whenever we wanted. It is also a short drive from the pretty village of Catalkoy where we experienced a real taste of authentic Cypriot life. Other than that, we didn't need to leave the resort, as it had everything, including a huge pool, lots of restaurants and bars, and a spa. It also put on a shuttle bus to the Cornaro Beach Club for a day out by the beach. We loved the atmosphere at night, especially the live music at the Cotton Jazz Bar and the club nights at Cornaro Beach Club. We also enjoyed...

“Lovely Hotel”

Peter and Melanie from Cheltenham Spa on Oct 21, 2016

Visiting for a friends wedding , The agent Mandy at Go North Cyprus suggested the Malpas Hotel , great value for a 5 star Hotel with Free Evening meal included, Initially booked a land view room , but decided to splurge and upgraded to sea view after the first night and well worth it.The hotel is in a fairly isolated location so the Hotels shuttle bus to the beach club and into Kyrenia was handy. There was some building work going on at the Hotel , but Go North Had advised us of this and to be honest it didn't impact on us.The Spa was the icing on the cake , the girls in the party loved it, the Gym allowed us to offset the wonderful food , we only stayed 3 nights but are already planning to return next year.

“Great location”

Duane from Istanbul on May 7, 2016

This is my third visit to the Malpas and I always look forward to the facilities, food and relaxing pace of this resort. Unfortunately I arrived at the time of major renovations and outdoor excavation. Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful I did find the constant digging and rock breaker annoying. I suggest that the hotel website indicates if construction is taking place and allowing guests to decide if they wish for their relaxing holiday to be disrupted by excessive noise.

“A great deal, good facilities and fantastic food”

Stephanie from Cumbria on Mar 24, 2016

We found the best prices for our winter holiday through Go North Cyprus, who booked us in at the Malpas Hotel for a week in February. We found the hotel pleasant and finished to a high standard, with a good variety of buffet food served at mealtimes. The hotel operates a shuttle bus into Kyrenia, which we took a few times to visit the lovely harbour here and have a poke around the shops. There's also a hotel-run bus down to the beach, where there's a fantastic fish and seafood restaurant. The hotel staff were friendly and most spoke some English, which was useful when we asked about bus times or had any questions. The pool area is fantastic, it was a little chilly when we visited in February but there was a lovely warm indoor pool too! Thanks to Antony at Go North Cyprus for finding us such...
