“Great family break”

Mary from Paphos on Jun 27, 2017

we were looking for a beach type holiday but close to a town and the Oscars fitted the bill , we stayed in the Poolside family rooms (2 bedrooms) which was very handy as being out near the beach meant that we didn't have to shower/dress the children to go to our room, they loved the waterslides and the holiday train , the staff at the hotel were great and the one issue that we had was resolved quickly.Patina restaurant 10 mins walk away is owned by the hotel and became our favourite for lunch , less than 15 for the three of us .

“Brilliant value family trip”

Nina from Wigan on May 5, 2017

We booked a break at Oscar resort with gonorthcyprus and have just returned. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel in a lovely renovated room with comfortable beds. Bathroom was a touch on the small side but had a very good shower. Kids loved it here, there's a nice sandy beach and facilities like tennis courts as well as the pools. The wave pool was not completed but didn't affect our stay. There are some good evening activities, bingo and karaoke, and it's easy to get around with the free bus the hotel operates. If you don't want to wait for the bus a taxi is very cheap and convenient for getting into town, it's only about five minutes away in the car. Nice buffet every day, a good salad bar and lovely desserts, staff very friendly and always happy to have a chat. All in all a great stay, very...

“Not what we expected”

Simon and leonne Woods from Portsmouth on Nov 24, 2016

My parents had booked for a week at the Vouni Palace hotel and we decided to Join them , I called the agent that they booked with (Go North Cyprus) but the Price was a little above our budget, the agent that we spoke to ( Gary ) suggested the sister hotel next door , the Oscars resort and with the addition of offering a 2 bedroom unit was ideal for our needs, the immediate area on approaching the hotel is a little run down , but the complex itself is very nice indeed, we were able to use all of the facilities of the Vuni Palce too, Nice heated indoor pool and Sauna, food was nice at the hotel but we ventured out most days taking the holiday train into the harbour and then getting a taxi back , All in all a nice break with the family . Already booking for next year.

“A good all round family Hotel”

Michael Morgan from Birmingham on Oct 10, 2016

Having done My homework on tripadvisor, Oscars was foremost in mind when I called Go North Cyprus, we were advised to book the poolside family room as it has 2 sleeping areas offering privacy and direct access to the pools and beach, we stayed Bed and Breakfast and made use of the Holiday train to get into Kyrenia, where there are many great restaurants .The castle is a must see and like everywhere in Kyrenia , very reasonably priced.

“Amazing value, amazing experience”

Laura Marks from Blackpool on May 2, 2016

We booked a week's stay at the Oscar Resort Hotel through GoNorthCyprus.com and really feel we received amazing value for money. The hotel was clean, airy and attractively decorated and our room was very nice, large, and finished to a high standard. The staff here cannot be faulted, they are so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious such a wide choice and everything looked and tasted mouth-watering. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk away from the harbour in Kyrenia, it also has its own private beach, a spa and a few pools, so there's plenty to keep you busy. We found the whole experience enormously relaxing, the setting is very peaceful and the entertainment doesn't go on all night, so you get a really decent sleep in very comfortable beds! We are planning to return next summ

“A welcome return to North Cyprus for us”

James Whitely from Devon on Mar 26, 2016

After taking a break for a couple of years we decided to return to N Cyprus. A friend told me about the Go North Cyprus website and I must say they were excellent. Not having been for a while I gave them a call with a couple of questions and they were brilliant. Between us we decided that the Oscar Resort in Kyrenia best suited our needs, and I am eternally grateful for help and advice. From the moment we arrived we felt like family. This great resort has 3 lovely pools, plenty of trees and green areas, and one of the best entertainment teams I've come across. Big rooms, wonderful employees and gorgeous food and drink; what more could you ask for! The restaurant deserves a special mention for its beautiful terrace which looks out over the sea. The hotel is around 1.5km away from the centre...

“Great holiday - good value”

Jacqueline from Norfolk on Sep 29, 2015

Oscar resort hotel is a lovely hotel in a great position. You can walk into Kyrenia (Girne) harbour in about 20 minutes, although the area is quite rundown, but doesn't feel unsafe. We were a family group of eight and had a few issues with leaking sinks in the room when we first arrived, but everything was sorted out within a few hours. The rooms were very clean and our split level club gallery was extremely spacious. It also had one of the nicest views, over the wave pool and out to sea. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but room service was available and the bars did a lovely coffee anyway. The pool bar staff and the food was excellent. Prices were slightly higher than outside, as you would expect in a hotel, but still great value. The reception area...
