“Great hotel with excellent service”

Nicky and Sam from Dorset on Feb 6, 2019

We've just returned from a break at Salamis Bay Conti Hotel, which we found on the gonorthcyprus website. We were pretty impressed with the reviews and spoke to Gary in sales about the hotel before booking, he was very knowledgeable and arranged everything for us, including transfers. The hotel is less than an hour from the airport and when we arrived we were welcomed by the staff and given a very comfortable room. We called reception and requested a kettle, which was quickly brought up. Our room had a fantastic sea view and was kept very clean throughout our stay and the staff are all efficient and polite. We really enjoyed the meals at the restaurant, buffet service was handled well and there were no delays. We took the shuttle bus into Famagusta a couple of times, which is cheap and quick,...

“Excellent value getaway”

Angela from County Down on Oct 18, 2018

Salamis Bay is a nice hotel, a little tired here and there, but welcoming and well looked after by a team of efficient staff. We stayed for a week through gonorthcyprus and enjoyed our trip very much. The hotel is quite secluded but you can take a taxi into the old town for about 10 euros if you fancy being right in the thick of it. We liked the peace of the location externally and the hotel itself has a reasonably lively atmosphere inside. The beach is wonderful, we spent so much time out of doors even in October. The staff are excellent, very friendly and professional, and the food is also very good. Broad choice of dishes and everything cooked to perfection. Very good value for a short break.

“Wow, what a place!”

Shawn from Nottingham on Jul 2, 2018

I took my wife and kids away to Salamis Bay Conti Hotel for a week after finding the hotel on We got a good deal and couldn't wait. Sure enough, when we arrived we were given a great room, generously proportioned with a fantastic sea view. So many positives about this place, great pool area, close to the beach and the entertainment staff are brilliant at making sure nobody gets bored! Really, really clean throughout and a great selection of food, everything well cooked. All the employees work hard and are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I really hope we can return someday because we all had a blast at Salamis Bay.

“A superb family stay”

Moira and Ben from Somerset on Feb 27, 2018

We booked a week at Salamis Bay Conti with our toddler after finding the hotel online. GoNorthCyprus gave us a good price and we were pleased with the booking process, which was very smooth. We were surprised to find so much on offer when we stayed in February, usually a lot of facilities are closed at hotels out of season but this resort had plenty open, including the pools, sauna, steam room and such. The staff were attentive and friendly and our room was comfortable and kept clean. The bathroom fittings could be slightly better but that's about all we could find in terms of faults. For a few euros you can take the bus into town and explore, we had a great time and our toddler enjoyed himself too!

“Great value lively break”

Mike from Hull on Oct 25, 2017

This is a busy hotel with a lot to offer, we booked for a week with gonorthcyprus and had a great time. The hotel is large and clearly popular, we had a good-sized bedroom and bathroom which were both clean and well kept. The staff were all friendly, the hotel has a lively atmosphere and offers a great selection of food at mealtimes. All different kinds of cuisine, which is useful if you don't share the same tastes as other travellers in your group. Great pool area with plenty of sunbeds and the snack bar serves hot dogs and burgers, so you can always fill up if you don't make the set meal times. There's a shuttle bus into Famagusta which runs a few times a day and is very cheap or you can take a taxi but it's more expensive. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and would return.

“Great beach and family friendly atmosphere”

Jacqueline from Sheffield on May 15, 2017

I recently stayed at Salamis Bay with my husband and our daughter. We booked with Go North Cyprus, who were very accommodating and helpful and even arranged transfers for us. When we arrived at the hotel we were checked in efficiently by a friendly member of staff and given a comfortable room with a gorgeous sea view. Our daughter was full of energy (she is 3) and loved the indoor pool, we used it every day! It was fantastic to be so near to the beach as well, which was clean and pleasant. We had breakfast at the hotel every day and found it to be very good and filling, lunch was nice too. We ate out at tea time so can't comment on evening meals but the restaurant seemed busy. Nice Turkish baths and friendly staff too. We enjoyed our holiday overall and would recommend.

“Cheap AI deal”

Douglas and Jenny from Jersey on Nov 17, 2016

I booked thru Go North Cyprus, overall happy with the Holiday but it is Not a five star, the rooms were clean and comfortable , the food a never ending choice and great Spa facilities, we spent most of our time on the beach . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and after they couldn't fix a non working AC unit in our room , they moved us into the new block, where we found a bottle of wine and some fruit waiting for us , (A nice touch ).
